My wedding and boudoir photography studio is located in beautiful Southern Maryland.
My high standards and positive client feedback have resulted in me becoming known as one of the leading specialist in high end boudoir photography in Maryland. My clients often return for second and third boudoir shoot because they had so much fun the first time. It’s not uncommon for clients to drive two to three hours just to have their photos taken. My 1,300 sq foot studio, located in Southern Maryland, is designed with boudoir in mind. Hardwood floors, a beautiful private dressing area and sets designed specifically for boudoir shoots are what you will find when you arrive for your session. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed so there is no need to be nervous. You will receive one on one attention and I will work with you on your posing and facial expressions to bring out your very best. I will do everything possible to make you look incredible. You get the sexy photos you want, showing as much as you feel comfortable revealing. Boudoir albums, prints, and wall art are available for purchase. If you need a grooms gift or want to give your significant other a sexy little surprise for the holidays, I have you covered. Boudoir albums make the perfect gift for the man who has everything.
Robin Owen Photography also offers wedding photography in Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC. I am a member of the Maryland Wedding Photographers group in this area and next spring I will be launching a Southern Maryland high school senior photography division. Stephanie and Chris's Southern Maryland Wedding at Harrington Harbor Inn
This is my old blog please visit the new website at www.robinowenphotography.com You won't be disappointed!
Chris Swann and Stephanie Bly were married on October 1st and their wedding took place at the gorgeous Harrington Harbor Inn located on the Chesapeake Bay in Southern Maryland. I felt like I was on a tropical island! The place is truly beautiful, with sweeping views of the bay. The bride got ready in one of the brightly painted cottages on the property. Stephanie and Chris couldn't have picked a better location for their wedding. I had a lovely time with their family yesterday. The people were nice, the weather was perfect, the location was beautiful and the bride was stunning. Here are a few photos from the day. Thanks so much Stephanie and Chris for letting me be your photographer. Enjoy!

Destination Weddings...
This is my old blog please visit the new website at www.robinowenphotography.com You won't be disappointed!
Not getting Married in Maryland? While most of my weddings take place in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia area, occasionally I do travel to other locations. Beach weddings are my favorite. If you are planning a small or large destination wedding and are interested in having me shoot it for you don't hesitate to ask about pricing. It may be more affordable than you think.
This wedding photo of Amber Poole and Jason Stone was taken at the beach in Key West Florida.

Ballerina in The Streets Of Old Town Annapolis..
This is my old blog please visit the new website at www.robinowenphotography.com You won't be disappointed!
A few weeks ago my crew and I headed out and did a bit of shooting around old town Annapolis. Sarah was our model for the night. As you can probably tell, Sara is a dancer. I enjoy shooting dancers because they are so graceful. We attracted quite a bit of attention that night with Sarah dancing in the middle of the street. I wish I would have gotten a photo of all of us together but it didn't cross my mind at the time. I'll make sure I do on our next outing. Thanks for helping out Sarah!

An impromptu Retro, Glamour, Pinup Shoot In The Studio
This is my old blog please visit the new website at www.robinowenphotography.com You won't be disappointed!
A recent impromptu pin-up style photo shoot with my daughter, Summer, produced some really cute and flirty, retro, glamour, photos we both loved. She was in the photography studio trying on props and they looked so cute I just had to get the camera out. Summer was in Key West all last week hanging out on the beach and relaxing while on a well deserved vacation from college and work. Key West is a long way from the crowded streets of Manhattan where she attends school. I know she hated to come back.

Erotic, sensual, intimate, glamour portraits, it's all boudoir!
It has come to my attention that many people don't know what Boudoir photography is. They may know what type of photos they want but they are not sure what key words they should search when they are looking for a photographer on the internet. I don't know who the first photographer was that started calling it boudoir but the name has stuck and it is catching on. The hope is that soon everyone will know the term. Boudoir encompasses many different types of photography including couples and men not just women. It can also include erotic fantasy types of shoots. Got handcuffs? Don't be afraid to bring um to the shoot! LOL it all depends on what you and your photographer are comfortable with. Don't be afraid to ask if you want something a bit out of the ordinary! Often the photographer will see it as a chance to do something different and get artistic with it. Feel free to spread the word about this beautiful forum of photography, go ahead and post about it on your blog, facebook page or twitter. Photographers are trying to get the word out about what boudoir is, we can use all the help we can get! Remember a good place to search for boudoir photographers in your area is to check out www.boudoirphotographynetwork.com there you will find some of the best boudoir photographers in the country listed by state.

Wedding day timeline....
I found that brides don't always allow enough time for wedding photos on their wedding day. Many times they will underestimate the time it takes to create some of the more artistic photos they envision. Often they set aside an adequate amount of time for photos but underestimate how long it takes to get from the church to the reception. When you attempt to round up a wedding party and get them all into the limo, it never fails someone is missing. There are a million other little things that can eat up 15 or 20 minutes before you know it. That time has to be made up someplace and often it comes off the photography time. As a photographer there is not much we can do about it, except make you aware that unless you give us the time, we can't do our job properly. So please, go over your time line with your photographer. Always allow more time than you think it is going to take to get from point A to point B. Throw in 10 or 15 minutes here and there throughout the day to cover delays. If you don't need them, great you are ahead of schedule!
